45th Stop N Shop & Poke Bar
2323 N 45th St, Seattle, WA 98103
What was once an erotic bakery is now what appears a simple neighborhood corner store stocked with chips, beer, random snacks and a long line spilling around the corner. This isn't your typical corner store. It houses one of the best poke bars in Seattle served up by super friendly millennials rocking hip hop as they prepare your food. Poke (pronounced po-kay) is Hawaiian raw fish salad. 45th Stop N Shop & Poke Bar's poke bowls are loaded with rice, seaweed, picked vegetables, edamame, crab salad, and your choice of raw fish (the salmon is amazing). Although the dish may sound like sushi in a bowl, it is much more complex with the pickled veggies, seasoned fish and sauce. It is definitely worth the wait for a $10 - $12 bowl.
